Tents Make Family Visits Possible in All Sorts of Weather

The weather in June was cool and damp across most of Western Canada, and for Sweetgrass, it was a bit of a deterrent to sanctioned outdoor visits. There is a gazebo in the courtyard, but its open sides are no barrier to the wind and rain. So when the local branch of ATCO Electric offered shelter from the storm, the offer was accepted with gratitude.

“ATCO called General Manager Paula Bird to see if it was okay to donate a couple of walled canopy tents for family visits,” says office administrator Mailyn Fornoles. “Paula agreed, and it’s been so nice to have a nice sturdy, sheltered place for residents and their family members to visit. It adds a bit of privacy and it’s out of the wind and rain, and now that it’s warming up, out of the direct sun too.”

“We are very grateful for ATCO’s thoughtfulness and generosity.”
