Dining at Sweetgrass

Our cooks are amazing and the meals are great. You can smell delicious baked goods and homecooked meals filling the hallways with mouthwatering aromas. Our chefs are all Red Seal certified, providing the highest quality of cuisine.

The Red Seal program is the standard-bearer for culinary excellence, and their certified chefs epitomize gastronomic creativity, quality, and excellence. Every recipe they prepare will be in keeping with your discerning palate: even if you have allergies or dietary restrictions. 

Our chefs focus on offering residents a variety of dining choices, including local favourites, familiar dishes, and specialty meals. The focus for every dish is for residents to have homemade options and the chefs use fresh fruits and vegetables when possible. Three meals a day are provided for residents with additional snacks throughout the day. 

Menus are based on the Canada Food Guide and are approved by a dietician. All menus are reviewed with special consideration given for holidays; special events and occasions; as well as residents' requests.
